Oneida is a friendly city on U.S. Route 34 in west-central Illinois, sometimes known as the “biggest little city in Illinois.” Just up the highway from Galesburg, we are located in Knox County between Peoria and the Quad Cities.
We have a thriving school district, locally-owned businesses, two parks, a public library, a church, many community organizations and close ties to local agriculture.
We are proud of our history, enjoy our small town lifestyle and look forward to a bright future. Stop by! We always welcome visitors, new residents and economic development.
